Since the 1960s, FCBA has been conducting research in the forestry sector. More than 3,000 experiments have been set up. Approximately 900 are still being monitored today.
Two major themes are studied: forestry and genetics. All the information relating to this experimental heritage is grouped together in a single database containing the description of
the genetic material tested (more than 48,000 references)
the experimental systems (3,000 systems, 2 million trees)
This database is accessible on the Internet: https://base-sylviculture-genetique.fcba.fr/.
You will find the descriptive data or metadata, but also some documentation, studies, publications and news about these forestry data.
The database can be accessed either by experimental systems or by genotypes.
