Certification attests that the quality and performance of products or services have been validated by an independent and accredited body. The certification criteria are defined in a reference framework recognised and accepted by all parties concerned: companies, users, consumers, experts and administrations. Each certification results in a mark (NF, CTB, PEFC, FSC®...) identified by a logo on products or commercial documents.

The “Origine France Garantie” label is a way of highlighting the French production of products.

FCBA, certification body is accredited by the COFRAC (Certification of Products and Services n° 5-0011 and certification of Persons n° 4-0029, scopes available on www.cofrac.fr)

In the field of wood construction, primary processing and furniture, FCBA issues product certifications under the CTB and NF marks on behalf of AFNOR Certification as well as individual certifications under the CTB mark.

This certification attests to the classification of the formaldehyde content HCHO (formaldehyde) for use in construction, furniture and packaging.

CTB B+

This certification attests to the suitability of wood for use in building and civil engineering works.
It guarantees that the natural durability or the durability conferred by treatment makes the wood suitable for use in the class or classes of use mentioned.

CTB Bois Acétylé Accoya

This Individual Certification applies to cuts of radiata pine (Monterey pine / Pinus radiata D. Don) modified by acetylation and intended for the production of, for example, decking, cladding, joinery elements or structural works.

CTB Bois Haute Température

The “CTB Bois Haute Température” certification applies to flat wood profiles modified by a high temperature treatment and intended for the realization of products with non structural use.

CTB Constructeur bois

The CTB Constructeur Bois certification, a voluntary approach, allows the certification of a company’s services with the commitment of an independent control body that verifies the quality. This third party organisation is itself controlled by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC).
