This Individual Certification applies to cuts of radiata pine (Monterey pine / Pinus radiata D. Don) modified by acetylation and intended for the production of, for example, decking, cladding, joinery elements or structural works.
This material is made by grafting acetic anhydride onto the lignocellulosic constituents of Radiata Pine, according to a process patented by the company ACCSYS TECHNOLOGIES (ACCSYS GROUP).
This Individual Certification applies to the modified material marketed by the applicant, the company ACCSYS TECHNOLOGIES (ACCSYS GROUP), and not to the finished product suitable for use.
The Individual Certification attests to the intrinsic mechanical, physical and durability characteristics of ACCOYA® acetylated wood.
