Evaluation of surface resistance to cold liquids

Discs saturated with test liquid are placed on the test surface and covered with a glass Petri dish. 

After a specified period, the discs are removed and the test surface is left to rest for 16 to 24 hours. The test surface is then washed and examined for damage such as discoloration, changes in gloss and color, blistering, and swelling.

The test result is expressed as a numerical rating code.
