Morphological analysis of fibers

Morphological analysis of fibers
Fiber morphology is a key issue in materials recovery. Knowing the size of compounds obtained or transformed helps to understand and improve performance.

The analysis can provide the average length and width of the fibers and a distribution according to different classes.

The analysis can also involve measuring the mass distribution of fibers after dry or wet grading. Different grid sizes are available to determine the proportion of elements retained by a given grid.

Morphological analysis can be complemented by chemical composition analysis.
