Technical furniture - Industrial seats - Safety requirements, design and test methods

This standard applies to work seats in professional environments, such as workshop seats, driver’s seats not attached to a machine, and laboratory seats. It describes the safety and design requirements as well as the test methods that these seats must meet.

It does not apply to community furniture, office furniture and school furniture, for which specific standards exist.
