AGEC Act, anticipating the constraints, seizing the opportunities

AGEC Act, anticipating the constraints, seizing the opportunities
Date Le 08.06.2022
The AGEC Act was published in February 2020: it will bring about changes and consequences for the furniture and timber construction industry.

The anti-waste law for a circular economy (known as AGEC) was published in February 2020. It is divided into 6 main chapters:

  • Strategic objectives for the management and prevention of waste production
  • Consumer information
  • Promoting re-use and re-cycling as well as the functionality and service economy in the context of the fight against waste
  • Producer responsibility
  • The fight against illegal dumping
  • Miscellaneous provisions

The aim of this webinar is to present you with the main aspects of the AGEC law that will have an impact on the production and distribution of your products. Providing information to the consumer, for example, means that you must have properly prepared the eco-design plan for your product and its environmental display (characteristics and performance). In order to take the right turn today and to meet the requirements of the law, we invite you to follow the programme proposed below and to ask us all your questions at the end of the presentation.
