Workplace accidents, occupational illnesses and recruitment difficulties are issues that still affect many industries today. These events affect the quality and comfort of employees’ work and disrupt the organisation of companies.

The furniture sector is working to improve the working conditions of its employees, particularly its operators. It is within this framework that an agreement was signed in 2020 between the French furniture industry and the mutual benefit societies AG2R and APGIS. This agreement makes it possible to cover the cost of ergonomic diagnostics carried out by FCBA. The feedback from the beneficiary companies shows that there are real levers for action to be taken in the short term.
