At the request of professional organisations and with the support of CODIFAB, FCBA has produced 3 new environmental product declarations for timber-framed walls manufactured in France. The aim is to provide design offices with "turnkey" EHDSs.

For several years now, a collective environmental product declaration for “timber-framed walls made in France” has been available on the INIES database and on the DE-bois configurator. This ESDS, produced by FCBA with CODIFAB funding, corresponds to a wall made up of studs A45 mm wide and 60 cm apart, without insulation. To accompany this EHDS, a “Timber Frame Wall” interface has been developed on the DE-bois configurator. This allows a number of design parameters for this wall to be modified, such as the type of wood, the width of the studs, the type of bracing and the addition of insulation.

At the request of professional organisations, FCBA has produced 3 new sheets for CODIFAB. The aim was to provide design offices with “turnkey” ESDSs.

The three new ESDSs are as follows

  • Timber-framed wall with 145 mm wide studs at 60 cm centres containing wood wool, manufactured in France;
  • Timber-framed wall with 200 mm wide studs and 60 cm centres containing wood wool, made in France;
  • Timber-framed wall with a stud width of 200 mm and a centre-to-centre distance of 60 cm, uninsulated, manufactured in France.

These ESFs have been produced and verified. They are now available on the INIES database and on DE-bois.
