NF-Office Excellence Certified:
The certification dedicated to office furniture celebrates its 10th anniversary
27/01/2022
Combining the technical and environmental quality of office furniture and the societal commitment of manufacturers, NF-Office Excellence Certifiée (NF-OEC) is today the only French certification dedicated to this market segment.
For the past 10 years, it has guaranteed users a safe, long-lasting product that has been inspected by a neutral and independent third-party organisation, the FCBA Technology Institute.
On the occasion of this 10th anniversary, FCBA looks back at the evolution of this certification and that of office furniture.

Construction, Research, Furniture, Processing:
How certification drives, supports and promotes innovation around wood materials
16/06/2021
As we know, certifications aim first and foremost to fulfill a fundamental mission: to attest, by a third party, the performance and quality of a product, a service, and/or the skills of a professional. In this respect, they constitute a key benchmark for a sector and/or consumers.
The certifications issued by FCBA (CTB certifications, NF Fenêtres Bois et Portes Extérieures, NF Ameublement, etc.) meet this challenge. But beyond this role of quality guarantor, they are also a lever for innovation, at the service of wood construction and furnishing.
From the development of new types of R&D tests, in the field of kitchens or windows, in the laboratory phase or directly on the manufacturing sites; to the deployment, on the market, with professionals, of an innovative wood treatment against wood-eating insects; to the support provided to an industrialist to carry out its innovation and quality strategy in the field of CLT… Focus on 4 examples of collaborations illustrating the close links between certification and innovation.
