The answer
The Habitat Séniors programme has brought together a developer, an architect and 13 French manufacturers for three years, an architect and 13 French manufacturers. THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE
TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE
The FCBA formed a consortium of companies in the housing sector and accompanied them in this co-innovation for the benefit of seniors. Throughout the project, the institute involved and questioned some thirty senior citizens and their medical and family carers about their current habits and lifestyles. The search for solutions was carried out in co-design with them and the project companies. Finally, the prototypes were developed through user tests to ensure that they meet the needs of senior citizens as closely as possible.
