Xylorix Inspector, the wood recognition application, is constantly evolving: 27 species recognised and available with the FCBA subscription.

In March 2022, the joint work of Agritix and FCBA, with the support of CODIFAB, led to the launch of the Xylorix Inspector application. This totally innovative application is the first to be able to identify the 9 most commonly used wood species in France for joinery and structural work using artificial intelligence.

Reminder of the 9 species in the FCBA9 album: Bossé, Oak, Sapelli, Sipo, Douglas, Spruce, Larch, Pine, Fir.

In constant evolution, our partner Agritix has added 18 new species which are freely available from the application for one year to the wood species proposed in the FCBA9 and FCBA4 pack.

New species available: Teak, Malabar, Aralu, Balau (Bangkirai), Hevea, Ramin, Kempas, Chengal, Merbau, Jelutong, Keruing, Bintangor, Durian, Gerutu, Kasai, Kembang Semangkok, Mengkulang and Resak

As a reminder:
