Yuuz: launch of a study on the consumption of bulk and solid products

FCBA is now carrying out a study on the consumption of bulk and solid products.

For several years, bulk has been developing particularly in France. Indeed, according to the association Réseau Vrac, France is the leading country in the world in the bulk sector with more than 850 shops offering bulk sales. Similarly, bulk sales are developing in supermarkets with, in October 2021, a presence in 74% of large and medium-sized stores.

Bulk sales concern food products (such as dry products, oils and vinegars, fresh products, etc.), cleaning products (washing powder, fabric softeners, dishwashing products, etc.) but also cosmetic products, also known as solid products (shower gels, deodorants, shampoos, toothpaste, etc.).

In this study, we will focus on the daily life of consumers in order to help furniture manufacturers to design products adapted to their needs (in the kitchen, bathroom or even in shops).

To do this, we are launching the study on the Yuuz platform. This is an online platform that allows us to collect consumer usage, i.e. the way a product or service is used.
