Prediction of chemical compositions

Near-infrared spectroscopy has been used for many years as a predictive tool for various properties. Over the past 20 years, FCBA has developed a database containing information on, among other things, the chemical compositions of various types of biomass. By cross-referencing this data with laboratory analyses, it is possible to estimate the concentrations of individual components.

Calibrations are required in order to make a prediction. If these are not available, services can be provided on request.
