Resistance to repeated opening and closing (Endurance)

Resistance to repeated opening and closing (Endurance)
This test is designed to assess the resistance of joinery to repeated opening and closing. These tests can be carried out on casement, tilt-and-turn, and sliding windows. They can be supplemented by an assessment of air permeability before and after the specified number of cycles and/or mechanical characteristics (operating forces, axial torsion resistance, bracing, soft and heavy impact, etc.).

Accredited for these tests, FCBA can meet your requirements, regardless of the material used in the joinery and the number of cycles claimed. You can combine these tests with others, such as mechanical tests, to complement your product’s performance.

Our equipment is suitable for different types of openings: casement, folding, tilt-and-turn, and sliding.
