CTB Sawn Timber

CTB SAWN TIMBER was created in June 2003 following the merger of the CTB Sciages and CTB Feuillus brands to bring together all hardwood and softwood sawn timber under a single identity.

Objectives and means :

Production control is carried out by FCBA, an independent organisation, accredited by COFRAC for the “CERTIFICATION OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES”.
This certification is based on a reference system that is both a working and communication tool. No less than 6 European and French standards serve as references for CTB Sawn Timber.

Below are the main certified characteristics:

  • Visual mechanical or appearance classification;
  • Compliance with “freshly sawn” or “dry wood” dimensions with standardised tolerances;
  • Moisture content of dry wood;
  • Careful packaging;
